Coffs Harbour

Coffs Harbour Airport is located 4km (a 10 minute drive) from the town centre on Hogbin Drive. Most famous for the giant man-made banana at the northern end of town, Coffs Harbour is one of the largest regional cities in New South Wales, approximately halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. Coffs Coast is the regional tourism destination taking in the Coffs Harbour and Bellingen areas on the North Coast of NSW. This is where the Great Dividing Range meets the Pacific Ocean, leaving a small pocket of paradise lodged between the mountains and the sea. It boasts a wonderfully temperate climate all year round. Sprawling for miles up and down the coast, the area’s many beaches make for perfect holidaying territory with surfing, fishing and sand-side picnics and barbecues amongst the favourite pastimes of visitors and locals alike. The banana plantations that fill the hills around the area make the landscape richly green and unusual. The town centre is great for city-standard shopping and is home to many recreational clubs and nightspots. For art lovers the area boast artists, craftspeople and has a number of thriving galleries, markets, and popular theatre and cinemas. For more information click here.
